Providing a design to serve the needs of the Sorority and accommodate the various events around the calendar involved developing a broad staircase as featured access for groups and individuals moving between the first floor terrace and the lower garden area. An icon of student life on college campus everywhere, the ‘stairs’ offers the opportunity to sit, chat, lounge or just enjoy time between classes. Topiary ‘Delta’s playfully announce the Sorority and work with the colorful new gardens and seating areas which by house rules, are off limits to bicycle parking, a now orderly affair out of view.
